એ જમાનામાં વગર સોશિયલ મીડિયાએ એક ફોટો વાયરલ થયેલો. બાપુના પગ કસ્તુરબા ધોતા હોય એવો. આશ્રમ જીવનમાં બાપુ લાંબા અંતર પગપાળા ચાલીને આવે ત્યારે બા ગરમ પાણીમાં પગ બોળીને બાપુને માલિશ કરી આપે.

આપણા બાપ દાદા કે એમની ઉંમરના બીજા કોઈ વડીલો પાસેથી ક્યારેય સાંભળ્યું કે એમને ડિપ્રેશન હતું? તકલીફ તો એમને ય હતી. કોઈએ નવા નવા આઝાદ થયેલા દેશની ગરીબીમાંથી જિંદગી શરૂ કરી તો કોઈએ ખેતરોમાં મજૂરી કરી.

સાવધાન : એક ભારતમાં બે ભારત બહુ જોરશોરથી જન્મ લઈ રહ્યા છે.
આ કરુણ માનસિકતાનું ભયાનક પરિણામ એ આવે છે કે મોટાભાગની સર્જનાત્મક શકિત વ્હેમોમાં જ પુરી થઈ જવાથી વાસ્તવિક પડકારો સામે આવે ત્યારે શેકેલો પાપડ ભાંગવો પણ અઘરો પડી જાય છે.
